It will please the fans of biscuit sweets, homemade bread and pastry, as well as those who wish something tasty and simple to make with their hot drink in these cold days.
Ingredients:
- 150 ml milk
- juice and rind of one eco lemon
- 4 tablespoons homemade butter
- 150 g brown sugar or another sweetener to taste
- 200 g eco flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon pastry powder
Preparation:
- Stir together milk and lemon juice in a bowl. Leave the mixture for a few minutes until the milk coagulates.
- In another bowl, stir butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add lemon rind, flour sifted with baking soda, and the milk with lemon. Stir well and pour into a prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Then check the centre of the bread with a toothpick or a stick. If there are traces of the filling on the stick, it isn't done yet so leave it in the oven for another five minutes
- When the bread is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool for ten minutes.
- Once it has cooled, remove it from the pan and slice it. Enjoy the aromatic dessert, which melts in your mouth!
