The daily use of highly aggressive and toxic chemical products for cleaning and maintenance at home endangers not just one’s own health, but also the health of all household members and pets.

Did you know that your home, garden, vegetable garden or orchard can be cleaned and maintained in a simple, inexpensive, and quite natural and healthy way, without the use of harmful chemicals?

The secret lies in bio enzymes - organic solutions produced by the fermentation of fruits, vegetables, sugar and water.

You can produce this, according to many, miraculous, solution in a very simple way,  with the help of fresh fruit residues such as orange peel, banana peel and the remains of apples and various other fruits.

You can take advantage of the remains of vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, etc., which wastefully end up in rubbish bins.

Waste bio enzymes are a perfectly natural and healthy solution, especially for people suffering from allergies to chemicals.

By using this multi-purpose environmental fluid you take care of the safety of your loved ones and save the environment, nature and the planet, while at the same time saving money.

The discovery of waste bio enzymes

Responsible for the discovery of waste bio enzymes is Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong, a Thai supporter of alternative medicine and founder of the Organic Agricultural Association of Thailand.

The last 30 years she has been intensively engaged in the research of organic agriculture, with particular emphasis on the use of fermented organic waste as fertilizers and pesticides.

For her outstanding achievements in this field, in 2003 she was awarded a special recognition by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization).

Her work was recognized by Dr. Joean Oon, Director of the Centre for Naturopathy and Protection of Families in Penang (Malaysia), which took on the role of informing the public of the benefits of the waste enzymes.

Through joint work and dedication, these passionate supporters of alternative lifestyles significantly raised public awareness of the importance and benefits of natural and ecological solutions.

Among the first on the list are waste bio enzymes.

Process for preparing a waste solution for bio enzymes

The preparation of this extremely useful, multi-purpose natural fluid is very simple.

Ingredients:

  •     300 g brown sugar
  •     900 g of the remains of fruit and vegetables
  •     3 litres of fresh water

For that amount you need a plastic container with a lid which has a capacity of five litres.

If you want to reduce or increase the amount you prepare, adjust it and the size of the container.

In case you do choose to make more or less than the above, stick to the following ratio of ingredients: one part brown sugar, three parts fruit and vegetable waste, ten parts water.

Procedure

Pour the water and sugar into the dish you have prepared, mix well, and then add the fruit and vegetable waste.

Firmly seal the container and place it in a dark, cool place.

What follows is the fermentation process during which the container will produce gases (you will know it’s happening by the bulging sides of the container) so it will be necessary to periodically open the lid to release them.

Record the date of preparation, since after 3 months of fermentation the solution will be ready for use.

For any liquid whose colours range from bright to dark brown, strain and pour into a dark bottle and store in a cool, dry and dark place.

If the solution is properly prepared, the shelf life is unlimited.

It is necessary to dilute with water, as needed.

Notes:

  • Use only plastic containers for the preparation of bio enzymes - avoid glass because the accumulation of gases during fermentation can cause the glass to break
  • Always use brown sugar (instead of white), because it contains higher levels of minerals
  • If you use more vegetable residues, the liquid will have a sour smell, which is quite normal and not a cause for concern
  • If you want your solution to have a pleasant aroma use a larger amount of waste from fruit
  • If worms appear, add another 100 grams of sugar to the ingredients and tightly close the cap - after some time the worms will disappear
  • After straining the solution, do not throw away the isolated waste, but rather use it as a fertilizer in the orchard or vegetable garden

Efficacy and Use

Although many people are skeptical and believe that such a simple solution cannot replace powerful detergents and chemical products, user testimonials say quite the opposite.

Its use is manifold:

  • Cleans and disinfects all surfaces in the household
  • Effectively removes lime scale
  • Effectively breaks down grease, stains and various other impurities
  • Removes pesticides and other chemical substances from fruits and vegetables
  • Helps eliminate harmful microorganisms
  • Destroys mold
  • Cleans and freshens clothing and footwear
  • Purifies the air
  • Eliminates odors
  • Acts as a natural pesticide and herbicide
  • Enriches the soil and contributes to the health and growth of plants
  • Nourishes the skin and hair of pets
  • Helps in the fight against cockroaches, ants, flies and mosquitoes
  • Eliminates electromagnetic radiation
  • Protects the environment
  • Purifies groundwater

An excellent natural solution for home cleaning

With the help of these organic liquids your home will shine in full splendor, and its antibacterial properties will take care of both your health and your household.

You can use it for washing dishes, furniture and floors, and in this case it is recommended to use a ratio of 100 ml of solution to 1 litre of water.

It is a great natural solution for removing dirt, pesticides and other toxins from fruits and vegetables.

Leave the fruits or vegetables in a solution diluted with water (in a ratio of 30 ml of solution per 1 litre of water) for thirty minutes. Then wash it with clean water.

Clothing soaked and washed in this ecological solution is made impeccably clean and fresh.

All stains will disappear after leaving fabric to soak in the solution for a few hours; afterwards, wash it well.

Bio enzymes have been proven to be an excellent solution for the maintenance of bathrooms – for cleaning drains, for descaling, and for fighting unpleasant odours.

For cleaning and unclogging drains and for descaling, pour the solution into drains or soak the scale-affected area and leave overnight.

Interesting fact:

Bio enzymes effectively purify the air and remove unpleasant odors like the smell of some foods (onions, garlic), odors in the kitchen or bathroom pipes, the smell of tobacco and pets.

Suggestion:

Pour the desired amount of liquid into a pan and leave in the kitchen or closet. You can refill various decorative containers and set them as a decoration on your shelves.

Bio enzymes spotlessly clean mirrors and glass surfaces - from user experience, far more efficient than commercial cleaners.

Dilute it in a ratio of 1:3, pour into a spray bottle, spray on the desired area and rub it clean with a cotton cloth.

Help against harmful invaders

Apart from possessing powerful antibacterial properties, bio waste enzymes are effective in the elimination of various pests that relentlessly attack orchards, vegetable gardens, and residential areas.

They eliminate aphids, dispels ants, cockroaches and other insects, and help in the fight against mosquitoes and flies.

Mix 15 ml of bio enzymes and 500 ml of water, pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray the area from which you want to eliminate the pests.

For example, if you spray columns on the terrace with this solution, you will finally be able to enjoy summer evenings without the presence of annoying mosquitoes.

A natural fertilizer for lush gardens and orchards

This solution is a valuable organic fertilizer and harmless pesticide and herbicide.

It will enrich the soil of your orchards and vegetable gardens, eliminate all pests, and also improve the quality and flavour of fruits and vegetables.

For the fertilization of fruit, vegetables or flowers and eliminating pests, dilute the solution with water in a ratio of 30 ml solution in 2 l of water and spray the soil around the plant or the plant itself if contaminated with pests such as aphids.

Do not use the concentrated solution because it will "burn" the plant and acidify the soil!

Protector of the environment

It is known that chemical cleaning agents contain phosphates, nitrates, ammonia, chlorine and other harmful substances and thus pollute the air, soil, groundwater, rivers and the whole environment.

The use of these natural solutions will contribute to the preservation of not only the environment but also the entire planet.

Dr. Oon claims that a 1 litre of solution waste enzyme can purify up to 1000 litres of contaminated river water.

Therefore, each time the solution is poured down the drain after cleaning the house or laundry, you've done more than a good deed for a nearby pond, creek or river, and thus for the entire planet.
