1. Hemp bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt
- 3 cups of hemp flour
- 2 teaspoons of dry yeast
- ⅓ cup of hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon of caraway seed
Instructions
Manually mix all the ingredients except hemp seeds and caraway seeds.
Then add the remaining seeds.
Dump the dough into oiled baking pans.
Spray oil on the top and let it rise for an hour. Bake at 160 °C for about an hour.
Let it cool before slicing.
2. Hemp oil chickpea spread
Ingredients
- 1 cup of boiled chickpeas
- 1,5 tablespoon of hemp oil
- 2 teaspoons of sesame butter
- 1 large fresh garlic clove (or two small ones)
- salt to taste
Instructions
Mix or blend together chickpeas, hemp oil and sesame butter until well combined.
Mix with garlic and salt.
Use as a spread or as a dip sauce.
Store in the fridge.
3. Hemp seed cookies
Ingredients (for 20 cookies)
- 1 cup of oats
- ⅔ cup of unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3 tablespoons of hemp seeds
- 3 tablespoons of goji berries
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- ⅓ cup of nut butter
- ¼ cup of honey
- ¼ cup of almond milk
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
In a medium sized bowl mix together dry ingredients (oats, coconut, hemp seeds, goji berries and chia seeds).
In a separate bowl stir together nut butter, honey and almond milk until well combined.
Slowly pour wet mixture into dry one, stirring to form a dough (dough will be very chunky because of seeds and berries).
Roll the dough into small balls and place on a greased baking tray.
Bake cookies for 10 minutes.
Cookies can be stored in fridge up to 2 weeks.
4. Banana hemp smoothie
Ingredients
- 300 ml of cold milk (fresh cow milk, oats, rice, soya milk)
- 1 banana
- a little bit of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of hemp oil
- 2 tablespoons of hemp powder
- 1 teaspoon of honey
Instructions
Peal the banana, cut it into pieces and spray with lemon juice.
Blend it and add other ingredients.
Mix until mixture becomes creamy.
Pour it into glasses and drink while freshly prepared.
If you like a chocolate smoothie, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa to the listed ingredients.
5. Apple hemp spread
Ingredients
- 2 cups of chopped apples
- ½ cup of hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- ½ to 1 teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon
- ½ cup of hemp powder
Instructions
Bled until all the ingredients are well combined.
You can use the spread with bread, crackers or for making cakes.
Store it in the fridge, in a sealed jar.
