You can use ginger in numerous ways to make your skin shiny, healthy, clean and protected.
We introduce you to three recipes for topical use of ginger for a long, hot summer and a skin exposed to other people's looks.
1. Peeling against cellulite based on ginger and olive oil

This natural peeling will help you cleanse your skin, remove dead cells, stimulate blood flow and accelerate the melting of fats.
It will also straighten your "orange peel" on visible areas and deep-nourish the skin, giving it softness and shine.
Ingredients:
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 dl olive oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 eco lemon rind
Directions:
Mix well all the ingredients in one small pot. Apply the mixture on the moist skin during showering. Rub in the mixture and then rinse thoroughly.
If you don't have the time to prepare a fresh mixture every time, which is recommended, you can make a large quantity in advance and keep the mixture in the refrigerator up to a week.
2. Bathing salt with ginger, cinnamon and sweet orange essential oil
The aromatic and seductive blend of ginger, cinnamon and orange essential oil in this bathing salt brings true pleasure to body and senses.
Powerful anti inflammatory and moisturizing properties of the natural ingredients will provide your skin a deep care, protection from pimples, broken capillaries and damage, preparing it for the sun and heat.
At the same time, it helps against cellulite since it stimulates blood flow. It can also be used for relaxation after an exhausting day.
Ingredients:
- 50 g Himalayan salt
- 3 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1/2 teaspoons Ceylon cinnamon
- 5 drops sweet orange essential oil
Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Add smelling salt into the hot bath and enjoy the aromatic relaxation for 10 to 15 minutes.
Always prepare fresh bathing salt and use immediately.
3. Fresh ginger against white skin spots
Some of the best solutions for the skin are always the simplest.
For instance, a simple piece of fresh ginger may help you alleviate the symptoms of skin hypopigmentation.
The active ingredients of ginger help the skin regain its natural tone and the complexion colour.
Directions:
Every day (twice a day if needed) cut a thin slice (1-2 cm) of fresh ginger and place it on the problem area. Leave it on the skin until the juice is absorbed.
For milder spots, a 2-3 week treatment is sufficient, whereas
healing a scar requires up to several months.
It is essential not to stop the therapy, because the persistence will pay off.
