
To true gourmets who desire a nutritious, but healthy dessert we present you an irresistible, tasty and desirable treat - the orange and chocolate cake.
The recipe was created by the team from the renowned Croatian Vegehop restaurant and it does not contain eggs, milk or unhealthy sugars.
The combination of spices, nuts and fruits in this cake guarantees a veritable delight for your palate, delight which you are bound to share with your friends, colleagues and guests.
You can make it for anniversaries and celebrations, where it will certainly gain a star status among the desserts.
Ingredients (for a 24 cm diameter pan)
Base
- 40 dag almonds
- 10 dag finely ground coconut flour
- 2 spoons lemon juice
- 4 spoons agave syrup
- 3 spoons coconut butter
- 2 spoons cocoa
Cream
- 40 dag raw cashews
- 1 ripe avocado
- 5 spoons agava syrup
- juice of 3 oranges
- 3 spoons coconut butter
- 2 spoons cocoa
- cinnamon and clove powder - to taste
- vanilla powder
Decoration
- Eco orange rind, grated
Directions:
Blend almonds and coconut powder in the food processor.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend until the mixture starts detaching from the container walls.
Press the mixture to the bottom of the cake pan and straighten it with a spoon.
Soak the cashews in water for three hours. Strain and add in the remainin ingredients for the cream. Mix them together in a blender until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the cream into the pan over the base, decorate with the grated orange rind and place in the freezer for an hour.
