Bell pepper is used in many countries around the world as an addition to salads, stews, sauces, roasts and steamed dishes.
You can use it in various meals or eat it as it is, raw.
Minced, dried pepper is surely one of the staple spices in your kitchen.
If you wish to make peppers for a meal, and you want to try something new, here are three recipes we prepared for you.
Roast peppers for every palate
Ingredients:
- 4 red bell peppers
- Olive oil, vinegar and garlic - to taste
Directions:
Place red bell peppers into an oiled pan and bake at 250 degrees Celsius, until the skin develops blisters and cracks.
Cool the roast peppers, clean them and season with olive oil, apple cider vinegar and garlic to taste. If you wish, you can serve it with cream.
If you like roast peppers, roast them in great quantities, clean and freeze them.
Stuffed peppers with cheese and spices
Ingredients:
- 8-12 mini sweet peppers
- ½ cups goat's milk cottage cheese
- Herbs - parsley, oregano, garlic
- Olive oil
- Pepper and salt
Directions:
Cut the peppers in half and core them.
Mix the cheese with herbs and put the mixture into the cored pepper halves.
Place them in an oiled pan, drizzle with olive oil and bake in an oven at 200 degrees Celsius until they get golden brown.
Serve with lettuce and steamed green beans.
Raw bell pepper soup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh red bell peppers
- 1/3 cup cashews
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
Directions:
Mix the ingredients in a blender, pour into a bowl and add chopped peppers and parsley to taste.
Enjoy the meal!
