However, side effects associated with vaccines are serious for many people, including Brittney Fist.
This young woman is in a constant struggle with the effects of Gardasil, a vaccine against the infamous human papillomavirus (HPV).
This vaccine has left once vital and healthy young woman bedridden and stricken with seizures.
The text was published in May on HormonesMatter.com portal, her mother Roxie remembers how her daughter's health deteriorated rapidly after vaccination with Gardasil in 2007.
The story is all too familiar - a young woman full of energy and ambition reduced to an almost vegetative state, struggling to get out of bed and function without collapse and serious attacks during the day.
Such an awful life leads Brittney and thousands of other girls like her after vaccination with Gardasil.
Adverse reactions started immediately
For Brittney serious side effects began to manifest itself in less than one day after receiving the first injection of Gardasil in June 2007.
Her mother says that the morning after the shot, her daughter passed out on the living room floor.
Partial seizures followed in the days and weeks after that, severe pain in the legs, and then more powerful attacks.
It also changed her behavior and she began to have sudden outbursts of anger.
Concerned about the situation, her parents talked with the family doctor who insisted that Brittney is fine and that her symptoms were not associated with the vaccine Gardasil.
Subsequent blood tests revealed that she had a potassium deficiency, but doctors again claimed that it was not related to vaccination.
Believing these allegations, the parents took Brittney to the second Gardasil vaccination, which caused even more problems.
Completely bedridden
"From that moment Brittney’s health rapidly deteriorated," says her mother Roxie.
Within a week after the other vaccination Brittney had severe migraines, muscle weakness, blurred and double vision, and extreme sensitivity to light.
Brittney now wears protective sunglasses every day and suffers from head swelling and severe pain all over the body.
"Her pain was so strong that she was crying all the time," adds Roxie.
But her nightmare doesn’t stop there.
As the pressure in her head became worse, her face would sometimes hang over the side as if it was sliding from her skull.
She had a seizure and severe migraine 24 hours a day.
She constantly had problems with digestion. She could not eat anything.
She lost sensation in her feet and fingertips; she became completely bedridden and she just wanted to die.

Life after Gardasil
Recently Brittney herself has decided to publish an article on her life after the injection of Gardasil, sparing no detail in describing the extreme pain and suffering she has endured for 6 years.
Without the help of her loyal and beloved parents, Brittney simply would not be able to survive from day to day, all because of the vaccines that the pharmaceutical industry still claims to be safe and effective.
"I feel strange, I will probably have a seizure," Brittney describes her usual morning, which soon turns into a nightmare.
"Blinding pain hits me like a hot knife cutting through my head. It's a series of piercing punches, like I am being electrocuted repeatedly. Blackness spreads over me and everything becomes dark."
