How to cure knee pain without a surgery

Many of us often experience pain in one knee “without any reason”, and much rarely in both knees.

What do we do then? Should we go to a doctor and start some form of “treatment"? If so, what kind of treatment?

First, a doctor will tell you to purchase some medicine for reducing pain, and we will not name such medicines on purposes because all patients already know them quite well.

If we do not solve our problem that way, we will be sent to knee joint x-rays that will help determine appropriate therapy.

After we get our x-rays, a doctor will tell us that our cartilage is "becoming worn out” and that its degradation will continue if we do not prolong our therapy with the medicines. 

The usual therapy includes medicines for reducing pain and injections that are administered directly into our knee joint. Such injections are very expensive; they contain medicines for reducing pain and an oil that will lubricate our joint.

If that therapy fails to help, the only option we are given is to have a surgery, i.e. brace insertion, which is also expensive and the recovery can be long and painful.

All those problems were gradually enhanced because we have lost the precious time for proper treatment, since we were mostly concentrated on alleviating the consequences of knee joint ailment.


Find the real cause

So, we treated the pain that is a God given gift which should focus our attention on the problem, while what we should have been doing was finding a real reason and real source of our problem and cure that.

I do it by finding out which tendon, and adjusted inflamed nerve ending or ligament, is shortened or spasmodic so it, because of that, strings knee ligaments and cause pain.

Reasons for tendon shortening can be various: your knees are cold; your problems may be age-related, caused by sedimentary lifestyle, inherited bad tendon quality or sudden bending of the knee which caused a great stress on it etc.

So, in most cases, the problem of knee pain is located above the knee. It can start from lumbar-sciatic area and then travel via anterior/exterior muscles of the thigh to the knee and cause pain in it. 

All of this, of course, does not apply to injured knees with ruptured or sprained ligaments and injured meniscus, for which in my opinion the surgery is inevitable. It applies to all other knee pain that apparently have no cause, and such pains are the most often ones.

Alternative medicine treats such pains with massages, stretching treatments applied to specific locations, and without pain, expensive medicines, gels, injections etc. And, of course, without UNNECESSARY OPERATIONS.

So, I would like to give you one good advice – do not waste your time on treating knee pains and immediately start seeking what caused those pains.


Enhance your circulation

Knee pain tells us that circulation – blood flow to the knee - is reduced. Thus, joint nourishment and bone quality maintenance, especially cartilage quality, are also reduced. That causes cartilage degradation instead of cartilage maintenance. 

Furthermore, pain limits our normal movement which leads to reduced excretion of oil needed for joint lubrication which in turn accelerates cartilage degradation and the necessity of surgical treatment. You can see how everything is connected.

That is why preventive measures are of utmost importance. Preventive measures include, especially for elderly people, walks in the nature with occasional quicker pace. 

For younger and middle-aged people preventive measures include exercising, walking up stairs, squatting with both feet on the ground etc. at least two times a day for five minutes.

Do not despair if you do not succeed the first time you try those exercises, be persistent and start with fewer repetitions and hold on to someone or something while performing squats exercises. 

You have to admit that everything mentioned here is MUCH, MUCH easier, painless, safer, and even cheaper (in fact, it is free).

The time you spend in hospitals in pains, “running” to pharmacists to get “medications”, suffering pains caused by injections and creating unnecessary expenses etc. can be used for walks and easy exercises with friends that share your problems and which can provide you with support.

You will succeed, I guarantee it, just never lose time and hope.
