Amalgam is being used for many years as a product for filling teeth damaged by cavities.
Tooth fillings made of amalgam are known as “silver fillings”.
Despite the known fact that “silver fillings” contain up to 50% of mercury, in most countries they are still considered as safe for human health.
Furthermore, many dentists give them priority because they are mechanically more resilient and are twice as lasting as white tooth fillings.
One of the advantages of amalgam tooth fillings is their price, which means they are available to anyone.
But, at what cost?
Heath risks
Due to the fact that amalgam tooth fillings became a topic of discussions only recently, most people still do not know that such tooth fills can be harmful.
Unfortunately, despite the numerous and loud warnings from scientists, the FDA did not ban the use of amalgam tooth fills.
But, if the patient is a child under 6 years, pregnant women and people with bad health, the FDA recommends to consult physician before placing such tooth fillings, but that is the only safety measure.
From such recommendation we can conclude that amalgam tooth fillings could potentially be harmful for children, pregnant women and people with weakened immune system, but not for the rest of the population.
But that is not the case. Mercury is a source of danger to all of us.
Mercury – a dangerous carcinogenic poison
Mercury is known as a dangerous, carcinogenic poison that is extremely harmful to the human immune system.
In the past, all vaccines contained mercury and many vaccines still contain it today, such as flu vaccine that increases the risk of contracting Alzheimer’s disease by 10%, which is confirmed.
With that in mind, it is not hard to conclude that the presence of this poison in our mouth raises serious concerns.
Namely, even proponents of the amalgam claim that it is possible that such tooth fillings can release mercury vapors over time, which will mostly be absorbed into the lungs and then will reach all organs via the bloodstream.
Inhaling mercury vapors can cause many diseases, such as:
- cancer
- Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Crohn’s disease
- rheumatoid arthritis
- multiple sclerosis
- kidney diseases
- gastritis
- colitis
- allergies and asthma
- muscle pains
- insomnia
- anxiety
- learning and concentration difficulties
- fatigue
- chronic exhaustion
- depression
American scientists have, on the basis of measuring mercury concentrations in the body of people suffering from candida, discovered that as much as 80% of participants had increased mercury levels in body.
Mercury vapors are released from tooth fillings during chewing and tooth brushing and more filling a person has, the bigger problem is.
It is generally considered that the highest mercury exposure occurs during placing and removing amalgam tooth fillings.
Keep or remove such fillings?
Unfortunately, it is not known whether it is better to keep or remove such tooth fillings since large quantities of mercury can end up in our organism during the removal of amalgam tooth fillings.
The decision should be left to each individual and it should be based on personal assessment of potential long term and short term damages.
If you opt for removing amalgam fillings, find a dentist who will understand your position and give his/her best to remove tooth fillings with the best care.
After removing tooth filling, make sure to make body cleansing of heavy metals with the help of natural chelates – chlorophyll, green clay or zeolite.
Invest money in white fillings
What we know for certain is that amalgam fillings are not harmless. So, if you have to put fillings, invest money and put white ones.
Do not allow the dentist to put in the amalgam filling and risk your health.
Fortunately, the usage of amalgam is in decline, mostly due to aesthetic reasons.
White fillings that are not harmful are made of quartz and various minerals with resin base.
Besides, for putting such fillings, unlike amalgam ones, considerably less of the healthy tooth matter is being removed.
Their disadvantage is that they are weaker and can easily fall out, which means they have to be replaced more frequently.
But, in any case, alternatively there is an advantage and using white filling is much better for your health, regardless of the cost.
Will dental industry set aside bad amalgam tooth fillings?
The final decision on whether to use or not to use amalgam fillings should be left to science, but unfortunately that is not the case.
As with many other decisions regarding treatment and medicines, this decision is also subject to material interests.
The conspiracy of silence on the topic of harmful effects of amalgam fillings came from the simple fact that its market is vast and is a very lucrative business.
The use of amalgam tooth fills is banned in Norway and Denmark, but mostly because of their fear regarding environment preservation.
Sweden is the only country that banned them because of their harmful effects on human health.
In other countries used and removed amalgam is subject to rigorous rules, regarding the disposal of toxic substances, which makes it clear that such products are highly dangerous poisons.
It is truly remarkable that physicians do not see the presence of this poison in the teeth of humans as something dangerous.
