One food must find its place on your menu if you wish a strong and healthy immunity: garlic.
This is a raw food recipe involving a combination of garlic, almond milk and olive oil, which does not require cooking or heating.
It will help you as natural protection from flu and cold, but also as a treatment of already existing infections, common during winter.
You can consider it a natural liquid antibiotic you can use without fear of harmful side effects.
Compared to other winter soups, you'll serve this cold.
Ingredients:
- 3 dl of cooled almond milk (recipe)
- 3 cloves of garlic, thinly minced
- white pepper and salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
For decoration:
- pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- leaf of fresh parsley
- few drops of olive oil
- juice from half of lime
- crushed almonds
Instructions:
Place all the ingredients into a food processor and mix them together.
Season to taste and decorate with a few cups of olive oil, a fresh parsley leaf.
Add croutons or a couple of drops of fresh lime juice.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy your meal.
