Over hundreds and thousands of years mankind has searched for a panacea - miracle drug that could cure all human ailments.

Is there a natural remedy so effective against a wide range of diseases that it would deserve to be called panacea?

If we were to pick the strongest and the most effective remedy in the world, this name would undoubtedly be awarded to black cumin oil.

Black cumin is one of the most beneficial plants in the world.

Prophet Muhammad said that black cumin "cures everything except death."  Many famous doctors have used it over the centuries.

Black cumin seeds were found in the tomb of Tutankhamon. This plant is mentioned in the Bible and the Hadith.

The Latin name is Nigella sativa, while the most common popular names are fennel flower, black seed, black cumine, nutmeg flower, black caraway and Roman coriander.

Do not confuse it with cumin (Latin name Cuminum cyminum) - popular spice that can be found in any store.

Through centuries of use, this oil has been recognized as an amazing cure for countless diseases.

Composition and healing properties of cumin oil

There are hundreds of amazing medicinal benefits of black cumin oil.

It is believed that because of the synergy of its ingredients this oil has almost miraculous healing power.

Among the main ingredients we find:

  •  nigellone
  •  timokinon
  •  beta sitosterol
  •  proteins
  •  vitamins B1, B2 and B3
  •  folic acid
  •  calcium, iron, copper, zinc, phosphorus
  •  alpha linolenic acid
  •  anti-inflammatory omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
  •  myristic, palmitic, palmitoleic, stearic, oleic, linoleic and arachidonic acids

Lowers cholesterol and glucose levels

Studies have shown that black cumin oil significantly reduces blood cholesterol and glucose levels.

Subjects showed reduced levels of harmful LDL cholesterol from 12.7 to 8.5 after five months of taking half a teaspoon of oil, while their "good" HDL cholesterol was increased from 41.7 to 83.42.

In a second study patients with diabetes took two teaspoons of oil three times a day for four weeks and their blood glucose levels dropped from 21.7 mmol / L to 9.9 mmol / l.

Protects against cancer

More than 200 medicinal researches have been conducted on black cumin, and many of them are centered on its anti-cancer activity.

It was found that due to sterols and beta-sitosterol, which have anticancer properties, black cumin is a great way of preventing all types of cancer.

One of the most exciting discoveries is that it destroys the cells of one of the most serious forms of cancer - pancreatic cancer.

Research conducted by Jordanian and American scientists has confirmed that black cumin is effective against leukemia.

Black cumin oil contains up to 25% of timokinon, which stimulates the destruction of tumor cells. It is an excellent means for prevention in people who are at a high risk of developing cancer.

At the same time, this oil significantly reduces the effects of radiotherapy.

Natural antihistamine

Black cumin oil is a natural antihistamine, which makes it one of the most popular natural remedies for the treatment and prevention of allergies.

You should start using it a few months before allergy season, in order to prepare the body in time.

Its long-term use leads to a significant reduction in symptoms, sometimes even to a complete cure.

It is effective treatment for respiratory diseases including asthma, whooping cough, bronchitis and sore throat.

Enhances the immune system

Strong immune system is crucial in defense against most diseases. If the immunity is low, the body becomes susceptible to diseases.

Black cumin has an immunomodulatory effect, which means that it increases or decreases the immune response, depending on the needs of the body.

Strengthening of immunity is essential for the defense against external invaders - viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites.

However, some people's immune response is excessive and leads to autoimmune diseases. In this cases, black cumine oil comes to the rescue again.

Potent immunomodulatory effect of black cumin oil is essential in reducing the immune response and  treatment of allergies, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, diabetes, dermatitis and psoriasis.

It is  effective in treating arthritis and rheumatism, hyperthyroidism, systemic lupus and scleroderma.

Effective against pathogenic microorganisms

Black cumin is a natural antibiotic without harmful side-effects.

It is used for various infections and inflammations.

It has been proven to be effective against fungi and parasites, and even E. coli.

Therefore it is also used in the treatment of urinary tract infections.

Balances digestion

Black cumin oil helps maintain a healthy microflora of the stomach and intestines and stimulates the proper function of kidneys and liver.

It also purifies the digestive tract, detoxifies the intestines and kills parasites in them.

It is often used to combat fungal diseases such as candida, where its effect on the immune system is again crucial.

In the case of candida, black cumin can be applied both orally and locally.

Nourishes the skin, hair and nails

Black cumin oil is used in skin, hair and nail care and treatments.

Externally, it can be used against fungus on the nails and feet, dermatitis, neurodermatitis, hair loss, psoriasis, impetigo, acne, chronic and allergic inflammations.

Regular use on the face ensures cleaner complexion, reduces wrinkles and nourishes all skin types, especially dry.

Hair wraps with black cumin oil strengthen hair and give it a shine. Its activity against fungi and bacteria helps to reduce dandruff.

This oil can be used as a wrap or you can put a drop or two on your scalp after washing your hair. Gently rub it in and then dry your hair.
