Walnuts, apples an vanilla are synonyms for a great winter cake and a base for various treats.
Here we'll present you a recipe for a delicious fruit cake with the combination of these ingredients, such as it is made in the Vegehop vegetarian reastaurant in Zagreb.
You can make it as a dessert to a great family lunch or for an afternoon get together over a warm drink.
Ingredients
Biscuit:
- 250 g agave syrup
- 5 spoons ground walnuts
- 400 g T-850 flour
- 2 dl oil
- 1 spoon pasty powder
- 1 spoon bourbon vanilla
- 1 apple, finely grated
- 2 dl apple juice
- 1/4 dl soy or ordinary milk
First mix together the dry and then the liquid ingredients. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Filling:
Peel 3-4 kg of apples and slice thinly. Cook them with two handfuls of raisins. Sprinkle the mixture over the biscuit and straighten.
Cook grits with 1,5 l of milk, 300 g of agave syrup, 2 spoons of vanilla bourbon and 2,5 dl of integral grits.
Add 50 g of coconut butter. When it has condensed, pour it over the apples.
Leave it to cool. Enjoy your cake!
