Forget drugs for osteoporosis - build healthy bones in a natural way

Alternative doctors, who are recommending natural ways of treating this disease, were considered as lunatics. 

But today, many scientists completely agree with the alternative doctors. 

They warn us about the ineffectiveness and the harmfulness of conventional drugs for treating osteoporosis.

Today, a new approach for treating this disease is developed - a healthy diet, exercise and intake of extra vitamins and minerals.


Harmfulness of drugs against osteoporosis


Scientists warn that conventional drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis are not only expensive, but also have dangerous side effects.

Ironically, the side effects include an increased risk of hip fractures and necrosis (death bones) of the jaw.

"Bisphosphonates, for instance, disturb normal bone structure.  Bisphosphonates block osteoclasts - cells that break down old bone and make the room for the new one.

As a result, new bone is built on top of old ones, instead of degrading and replacing old bone.

In addition, recent studies have shown that bisphosphonates cause dangerous heart arrhythmia that can be fatal.

"The tests for measuring bone density are, unfortunately, far from accurate. They measure only the density, but not the quality of the bone. Although tests show that all is well, there is still a risk of fractures - and vice versa. "


A healthy diet instead of drugs


"For most people, the use of conventional drugs should be a last resort" - scientists say.

After 10 years of research, they have come to the conclusion that calcium and vitamin D in the organism of adults increases the density and quality of bone, which drastically reduces the risk of hip fracture. (Something that alternative medicine was saying for years.)

Magnesium, potassium and lysine also have beneficial effects on bone quality.

Therefore, for the treatment of osteoporosis, people should be recommended to intake foods that contain large amounts of these nutrients. The same result can be achieved by inducing supplements.

Sufficient amounts of vitamin D can be obtained via regular sunshine.

Exercise

For the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, you can use different exercises, but weightlifting was proved particularly effective for the formation of strong bones.

If you are elderly and do not move a lot, start with regular walking to get back in good shape. Younger and stronger people can immediately start with strength training.


Raw food


Raw food is healing and has proven to be effective against many diseases. Not surprisingly, the raw food helps against osteoporosis.

In her book "My raw passion" famous actress Nada Rocco writes about how she cured osteoporosis with raw food.

Several recipes for raw breakfast with kale

Chocolate smoothie with kale

  •         1 large banana
  •         a few leaves of fresh kale
  •         2 dates, pitted
  •         1 cup of blueberries
  •         1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  •         5 ice cubes
  •         1 1/2 cups of water


Tropical smoothie with kale

  •         1 large banana
  •         1/4 of avocado
  •         150 g of fresh cabbage
  •         3/4 cup of pineapple
  •         3/4 cup of mango
  •         1 tablespoon of coconut milk (optional)
  •         1 tablespoon of agave syrup
  •         1 1/2 cups of water


Kale with blueberries and strawberries

  •         1 large banana
  •         1 cup of blueberries
  •         1/2 cup of strawberries
  •         150 g of kale
  •         1 1/2 cups of water


Preparation

Put all ingredients in a blender and grind for 1-2 minutes until the mixture is smooth. Drink the juice immediately in small sips. The amount of juice is enough for one meal for one person.
