This plant has various names, but it is most widely known as lady’s mantle, lat. Alchemilla vulgaris.
The name Alchemilla comes from the Arab word “alkemelych” (meaning "alchemist”) and it was given to this plant by ancient writers due to its great healing powers.
Ancient people believed that this plant has the greatest healing powers if picked at night when the Moon is in its last quarter.

Mix the same amounts of lady’s mantle and yarrow. Pour one liter of boiling water over three tablespoons of the mixture and filter it after 20 minutes. Drink tea while it is warm.
Bath

Note: people experiencing stomach, liver or bile problems should take smaller quantities of lady’s mantle.

The plant is 10 to 40 centimeters high and it blossoms from May to August with modest, yellow-green or green flowers.
