Our desire for our own home is often expressed by saying "to make a nest".
What does a nest have that we would like to have in our homes?
Why do we feel gentle warmth and pleasure just by thinking about the nest?
Does that mean that we realize how much attention birds give to creating a place where their offspring can be safe?
Maybe we realize that the nest naturally blend with the tree due to its shape.
The circular shape of a nest proves that such shape is the most natural shape for a habitat.
Such confirmation can be found in early human settlements such as Indian, African or Eskimo dwellings (huts, tents, pile dwellings and igloos).
Circular dwellings allow energy to gently envelop them from the outside and to flow more freely through them.
Circular dwellings enhance the connection and communication between inhabitants.
Find the best location
The first and very important step is finding an adequate location. Your main tool for making a choice should be a consciousness about the importance of mutual effects of man, space and environment.
You should not forget how much time you will spend accompanied by your space and environment.
During your search, you can use many techniques - you can visualize yourself in your future home and environment; you can create and listen to your impressions.
In order to assess the adequate location, i.e. its energetic value, use Environment school. That is an organized knowledge system of energetic influence of environment on space and men.
You can make an energetic picture of that area by yourselves by carefully observing the following:
- type of soil
- presence and type of water flows
- types and direction of winds
- climate conditions
- fauna and fauna quality and specificity
- types of relief forms and neighboring objects
Our ancestors were more sensible and insightful than we are. They carefully examined the soil using various methods.
For instance, Eastern people used to bury bones in the ground and after a while they would dig it out and assess soil quality according to the appearance of buried bones.
In closer past, our grandfathers used their own methods of assessing soil quality. They tested the soil by examining animal behavior, and they mostly used horses.
They had a saying: “If a place is good for a horse to rest, it is good for a man too”. They knew the soil was healthy for a man according to its appearance, dryness or moisture of the rocks in the soil.
Signs of a bad location
You can recognize some signs of a bad location:
- soil devoid of vegetation, sandy or swampy soil
- sick and scarce vegetation
- deformed and old trees
- pale, thin and dry grass
- presence of stray animals, crows, birds of prey
- presence of anthills and beehives
- terrain filled with holes, inaccessible and steep
- landslides, proximity to falling stones
- proximity of running water flow
- very flat and completely open terrain
When it comes to urban locations, negative influences of transmission lines, substations, overpasses, highways, factories, skyscrapers and hospitals are well known.
Everything mentioned above should be avoided.
There are more subtle signals you should look for: unattended roads, messy gardens, unmarked pathways, non-existence of the house numbers or general chaos in the environment.
All those are signs of a lack of energy or a presence of any type of energy that has a negative influence on a man. Such negative energies will sooner or later make your life harder.
Signs of good location
You can easily recognize locations that are good for you “nest” by these features:
- lush, diverse and healthy vegetation
- the presence of birds with pleasant song, sparrows, swallows, pheasants or other animals such as hares or squirrels
- mild slope surrounded by hills or forest
- presence of mild water flow
Ideal location should have a hill and a river, so it looks as if it is nested amongst the hills and is enveloped in a river’s embrace.
Such locations have an abundance of positive energy, rivers bring positive energy and hills prevent wind to disperse it.
When we talk about urban areas, hills become substituted by skyscrapers and rivers by highways.
If you look for a location in urban areas, then find it in residential areas where you will be surrounded with similar houses and objects.
Avoid urban areas with high buildings that will take away the energy from your home and be dominant in comparison to your home.
In our time, this story maybe sounds like a fairy tale, but it is certainly achievable.
Those lucky ones that enjoy such gift can testify to that.
Today it is hard to find a location that fulfills all of the aforementioned criteria.
Find location with as much positive features as possible that has as few negative features as possible.
That way you will spend less energy for neutralizing negativities and have more positive stimuli from the start to create solid foundations of your new home.
Practical advices
- visit location during the day and during the night in order to get as realistic picture as possible
- visit potential locations when the weather is nice, never go if it is raining or during fog
- ask about the history of the area, valuable information can be hidden there
- do not visit locations if you are in emotional distress
Attention given to finding appropriate location is certainly well invested. Do not forget that foundations keep your house standing!
