Orthorexia: commitment to a healthy lifestyle is now considered a disease

In its constant attempts to invent new diseases, the psychiatric industry has proclaimed a new disease, by far the most ridiculous of all: a disease of a healthy diet!

This is not a joke: If you pay much attention to what you eat and try to eat healthy, you are a mentally ill person. You will probably need treatment, for example, psychotropic medication therapy.

According to the Guardian, "Focusing on healthy foods can be a sign of serious mental illness, which is called orthorexia nervosa, which translated from Latin means "agitation caused by proper nutrition."

Orthorexic individuals follow a strict diet. They refuse to consume salt, caffeine, alcohol, gluten - and that's just the beginning of their specific diet. They also try to avoid any food that contains pesticides, herbicides and any artificial additives."

Be careful. That means that avoiding sugar, GMO products and additives is now turning you into a mentally ill person! According to these experts – that is indeed the case. If you really take care not to consume pesticides, herbicides and genetically modified food, there is something wrong with you.

Attention! A dehydrated driver makes twice as many mistakes in traffic

Many people will reduce the ingestion of liquid before going on a trip in order to avoid the use of public toilets while traveling to the destination.

That's a wrong choice, shows an interesting research conducted by the Physiology and Behavior magazine, published in Daily Mail.

The scientists discovered that being thirsty behind the wheel has the same effect on the organism as the lack of sleep or alcohol. In other words, it makes the driver a danger in the traffic.

The researchers reached the conclusion after testing the quality of the ride with drivers who took plenty of fluids compared to other drivers who drank little fluid during a two-hour test.

Daily Mail published a report claiming the drivers who had taken 200 ml of liquid every hour made 47 errors, while those who had drunk only 25 ml of liquid committed as many as 101 errors.

One of those legends says that crystals were introduced to Rome from Olympus and that they represented and balanced all the properties of the sun: birth, growth and heat.

Ancient Egyptians used carved containers and crystals to transform ordinary water into holy water, which was enriched by crystal properties and had healing powers.

Tradition also suggests that the Egyptians used to crumble crystals into a powder, which was mixed with water, and that the resulting liquid was used for preparation of various healing potions.

On the other hand, deodorants allow perspiration, but inhibit perspiration odor.

Many people think (and advertisements promote that belief) that if you do not use an antiperspirant, you will offend the people around you.

Even when you use a deodorant which prevents the odour of sweat, you might feel uncomfortable because you still sweat or think the odours of sweat and the deodorant mix.

Despite this common opinion, most deodorants not only conceal the smell of sweat, but destroy the bacteria that cause the odor because of their antiseptic additives.

Cool down in hot sunny days with drinks, compresses and aromatherapy

Sunstroke is a condition caused by excessive exposure of the head to the sun, when the whole organism adapts to cool down that overheated part of the body.

This emergency situation stimulates the body to quickly send the "colder" blood from other parts in order to resolve the problem of overheating, which in turn causes many unpleasant, and sometimes highly dangerous consequences.

If the overheating continues, the influx of fresh blood will go on, which will make the blood vessels and the brain swell.

The symptoms of this condition resemble a brain concussion. More severe cases of sunstroke may cause loss of consciousness and, in extreme cases, coma or death, which means it is necessary to act urgently.
