The notable sites of this gem are located in Brazil, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, India, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, the United States, Mexico, Russia, Ireland and China.
The largest specimen ever found was 36 cm high and weighed 2.27 kg.
It was found in Brazil in the late eighties of the 20th century, and today it is on display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington.
