Even though the use of electricity with therapeutic purposes began as far back as the 18th century, it was only at the start of the last century that systematic research into the effects electric signals have on biological organisms begun.
Progress in electrical engineering together with discoveries in molecular biology and medicine enabled the understanding of the occurrences which appear in living tissue under the influence of electric and magnetic fields.
Russian engineer Georges Lakhovsky, born near Minsk in 1870, moved to Paris in 1894 with the aim of continuing his education at the Sorbonne.
In the company of his friends, medical students, he continued his training in the fields of anatomy and physiology.
At the end of WWI G. Lakhovsky dedicated himself to science completely.
He collaborated with prominent figures of the ear, including physicist Oudin and Professor d’Arsonval, the then-pioneer in the field of the use of high frequency electromagnetic fields for medical purposes.
As far back as 1893 Professor d'Arsonval constructed an electronic machine which produces high-frequency electromagnetic fields and he found their successful application in medical therapy practice.
The "Secret of Life" is in the frequencies
D’Arsonval treated with his device in Parisian health institutions a large number of patients suffering from various diseases and he reached conclusions which represented a significant basis for the theory G. Lakhovsky postulated and published in his book “Secret of Life”.
According to Lakhovski’s theory, every living cell of a biological organism is a miniature electrical oscillating system which has its own characteristic oscillation frequency.
If that frequency is for some reason changed, the cell loses its vitality and dies.
The reasons for that can be chemical poisons, pathogenic microbes, parasites, but in today’s day and age it can also be the strong electromagnetic fields coming from various technological devices.
It is interesting that at approximately the same time, Russian electronic engineer Semyon Kirlian discovered the possibility of recording electric visual occurrences which result from the interaction of cells and high frequency electric fields.
Today we know that feature of the organism to create a sort of “diagnostic fingerprint” as Kirlian photography.
Lakhovski’s theory astonishes with its accuracy, because today’s theories of molecular biology, proven in practice, overlap almost entirely with the ideas Lakhovsky described in his work.
The theories which explained how electrical energy acts on living organisms were very simple from today’s point of view, but at the time they emerged they were revolutionary and difficult to accept at the time they were published.
More recent discoveries in the field of electrobiology, particularly the discovery of DNA, fit in well, because the electrically resonant features of DNA spirals explained the possible reasons why some electrical fields, due to their frequencies, had characteristic effects, positive and negative, as is the case with x-ray and gamma radiation.
Lakhovsky Multi-frequency Oscillator

Equipped with new discoveries and encouraged by the therapeutic results of his contemporaries, G. Lakhovsky continued with his research. In 1924 he built his first machine, completely different than anything seen before, calling it a “Multi-frequency Oscillator.”
He soon published his second book, “The Origin of Life”, in which he completed his “multi-frequency theory of living cells.”
Doctors who used the Lakhovsky device in clinics in Italy, Austria and France at that time described their experience using it in the treatment of numerous diseases.
In 1940 Lakhovsky left for America, where he collaborated with Dr. D. Kobak and continued to treat many patients with his multi-frequency oscillator in New York hospitals.
Lakhovsky died in 1942 and Dr. Kobak continued with his work, using his devices until 1958.
The results were fantastic, helping the Lakhovsky oscillator find its way into veterinary medicine as well in numerous countries, among them Austria, Belgium, Canada, Italy, Germany, the Phillipines, America and Russia.
About the device…
From a technical point of view, the Lakhovsky oscillator is original and seemingly simple.
The difficulty, however, arises from the fact that today’s theories of electrobiology and electromagnetic fields cannot explain all the therapeutic results this device is seen to have.
Because of this it is necessary to align the electronic circuits and functional parts of the device very precisely in order to obtain the desired therapeutic result, and that makes the device fairly complex.
The basic characteristic of the device, that which makes it unique, is the generation of electric fields where an enormous number of frequencies are represented at almost the same time.
If a cell which has a “disturbed frequency operating mode” finds itself under the influence of that field, it finds “its typical” frequency and absorbes energy at that frequency.
Cells thus regain their electrical function and become capable of fighting the effects which had endangered their survival.
Most responsible for the recovery of the sick cell is the stimulation of the so-called “ionic pump”, which serves to keep the membrane potential between -70 do -90 mV, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the cell.
The main role is played by a cell product, adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is produced in the cellular organelle called the mitochondria.
Measurements have shown that temporary exposure of the organism to the effects of the oscillator increase ATP amounts by around 300%.
That in turn encourages the activity of the ionic pump in the opposite direction, so it no longer spends ATP as its fuel, but rather starts creating it and thereby filling the cell with energy.
After just 10-15 minutes spent in a multi-frequency electric field, the person being treated subjectively feels an increase in their inner energy potential. Since pathogenic bacteria have a relatively low membrane potential, this electric field speeds up their destruction.
One can say that the multi-frequency device, with its therapeutic effect, increases the defence capability of each organism and by doing so cuts down the time needed for self healing.
Personal experience
My personal experience using the Lakhovsky oscillator is very positive and completely matches the results found in historical documents.
-
Viruses: disappear after 1-2 fifteen-minute treatments.
-
Rheumatoid arthritis: Improvements are felt after 1-2 treatments. The number of treatments needed for a final, fully satisfactory state depend on the degree to which the disease has developed and on the general health of the patient. Very tangible improvements are found after 15 fifteen-minute treatments every other day. The improved state of diseased tissue is registered through an ultrasound examination.
-
Facial paresis - Bell’s palsy: Total recovery after 15 treatments in three weeks. Personal experience of the author of the text.
-
Carcinoma: significant improvement after just 4 treatments. More treatments are required. The final result depends on how far the disease has advanced as well as the patient’s age and general health. Since malignant diseases destroy the state of the entire organism, it is necessary to also apply other therapeutic procedures. It has been observed that the patient’s ability to handle other therapy is significantly increased with the activity of the multi-frequency generator.
-
Chronic arthritis: treated persons move around with significantly more ease and less pain after the first treatment even. The state improves after each subsequent treatment.
-
Enlarged prostate: After 2-3 treatments the majority of symptoms disappear and the general state improves.
-
Pain of unknown origins: pains disappear after 1-2 treatments.
-
Postoperative pain: one treatment is enough to feel significant relief.
-
Back pain: 4-6 weeks to the complete disappearance of back pain.
- Problems due to bad circulation: improvements are felt after the very first treatment, but it has been observed that a number of treatments 5-7 days apart are needed for the situation to stabilize.
