Did you know that you can use seasonal fruits for summer skin care?
You can add vegetables, yoghurt, honey or spices to fruits and make top-quality natural mixture that will rejuvenate your skin.
1. Apple and cucumber mask
I recommend this simple face mask made of cucumbers and apples that will regenerate and calm your skin and give it a natural glow.
You need half of cucumber, half of apple, half of spoon of lemon juice and several leaves of mint.
Peel cucumber and apple and slice them into small pieces. Grind everything in blender or in a mixer.
Add lemon juice and mint leaves. Mix all ingredients until you get homogenous mixture.
Place the mixture into a clean glass jar and put it in the fridge for 10 minutes. Clear your face of makeup and apply the mask. Avoid areas around eyes.
Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and then wash your face with cold water. Dry your face by gently tapping it with a towel.
2. Mango mask for all skin types
Mango is a great source of vitamins A and C, potassium and beta carotene. These ingredients are known for their nurturing effects on the skin.
Mango restores cells, prevents wrinkles and makes our skin more elastic and smooth.
Mango mask can help in a case of problematic skin – pimples, acnes etc.
Mix mango pulp with a spoon of honey and a spoon of almond oil, apply the mixture on your face and leave for 15 minutes. After that, wash your face with cold water and dry it.
3. Tomato mask for dry and damaged skin
Tomato (which in fact is not a vegetable, but a fruit) is famous for high antioxidant content. That makes tomato a perfect food item for treating dry and damaged skin.
A tomato mask regenerates and hydrates the skin and restores youthful look.
Mix two or three fresh and ripe tomatoes in a blender until you get a smooth paste.
Apply the paste on your face and leave it for 20 minutes. After that, wash your face with lukewarm water and apply tonic.
