This is one of my favorite recipes. Dwaraka burfi has a wonderful flavor that will surprise even the most demanding guest. At the same time, this dish is easy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
• 400 g of butter
• 275 g of sifted flour chickpea
• 275 ml of milk
• 275 ml of water
• 250 g of sugar
• 25 g of cashew nuts or walnuts
• 2 soup spoons of coconut flour
Preparation:
Melt the butter in a medium-size bowl. Add chickpea flour and fry, stirring over low heat, making sure it doesn't get burned After 15 minutes, when the flour becomes lightly brown, remove it from the heat.
In another pot boil together milk, water and sugar. Add cashews or walnuts and coconut, and then pour the syrup into the chickpea flour. Cook over low heat stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and becomes less sticky.
When the mixture has cooled sufficiently, form rectangular shapes on a platter and when they harden cut them into cubes. Decorate each cube with cashew or nuts or chopped pistachios.
Preparation and cooking time: 25 minutes
